How to set up your e-mail in Thunderbird

Thunderbird can detect this server's settings automatically — you only need to type your name, e-mail and password.

Automatic setup

1 In Thunderbird, open Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Mail Account.
2 Enter your name, full e-mail address and password, then click Continue.
3 Thunderbird searches for the settings on its own and proposes IMAP, server mail.yourdomain.co.mz, port 993 for incoming and port 465 for outgoing, both over SSL/TLS.
4 Once it shows those settings, click Done to finish.
If auto-detection doesn't find it, click Configure manually and fill in the same values by hand:
Setting Incoming (IMAP) Outgoing (SMTP)
Server mail.yourdomain.co.mz — replace with your own domain
Port 993 465
Security SSL/TLS SSL/TLS

Username: your full e-mail address — Password: the mailbox password you set in cPanel (not your portal or cPanel password).
