Maximum number of websites in Sitejet Builder: what it means and what to do

When cPanel shows "You have reached the maximum number of websites for this account. Contact your hosting provider to upgrade your account.", the account has reached the number of sites its plan allows.

Where the limit comes from

In Sitejet Builder, each new site needs a domain or subdomain in the account. Once the account has all the domains the plan lets it create, cPanel will not let you start another site.

On a single-site plan: build the builder site on the account's main domain. You do not need to create any domain.

What you can do

1 Use a domain that already exists in the account. The limit blocks new domains. If the builder site can live on the main domain or on a domain already added, use that — remembering that publishing replaces whatever is there (see how to publish safely).
2 Free up a domain you no longer use. Removing an unused addon domain or subdomain frees the slot. First make sure it has no e-mail or site in use, and make a backup.
3 Move to a bigger plan. Bigger plans allow more sites — see how to upgrade or downgrade your plan.
Changing plan deletes nothing: files, e-mail and databases stay where they are — see what happens when you change plan.

Still unsure
