How to change your Plesk password

The Plesk password is changed inside the panel itself, from your user profile.

Before you start: this is your Plesk password. It is not the same as your Meu MozOut one, nor your cPanel one, nor the one on each e-mail account — they are independent, and changing one does not touch the others.

How to change it

1 Log in to Plesk with your current details.
2 Top right, click your username to open your profile.
3 Choose the change-password option, enter the current one and the new one, and save.

It asks for the current password. If you do not know it, do not keep trying — repeated attempts can get your IP blocked by the firewall, and then you have two problems instead of one. Use the reset instead.

Before changing, think about what uses those details: if you have automatic publishing, FTP connections or external tools configured with the panel account, they stop the moment the password changes. Update them the same day.
What stays the same: changing this does not touch your Meu MozOut password or your e-mail accounts. Those are still handled separately.
